Additional Cast Announced for the “We are Bounty Hunters” Play

Additional cast has been announced for the 4th Toei Hero Next project “We are Bounty Hunters” theater adaptation.

We are Bounty Hunters was a movie released by Toei on May 2014 starring the main cast of the then recently completed Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, with cameos by numerous Super Sentai alumni. The film features a story taking place in the same universe as Kyoryuger centering around a theatre company called “Bazooka” and their sudden transition from actors to bounty hunters. It was directed by Koichi Sakamoto and written by Yoshifumi Sakai.

The Toei Hero Next projects are produced by Toei to give cast members whose tokusatsu shows have recently finished a chance to work on drama centered projects.

The new installment is titled We are Bounty Hunters: The Play, penned again by Sakai and directed by Tsuyoshi Kida with Sakamoto as action director. The main cast is composed by Shuusuke Saito (KyoryuBlack), Ryoma Baba (BlueBuster), Kazuki Shimizu (GokaiGreen), Ai Moritaka (ToQ-5), Yamato Kinjo (KyoryuBlue) and Atsushi Maruyama (KyoryuGold).

It has now been announced that Mitsuru Karahashi (Naoya Kaido/Snake Orphnoch in Kamen Rider 555 and Juuzo Fuwa in Samurai Sentai Shinkenger), Nao Oikawa (Water Pollution Minister Kegaleshia in Engine Sentai Go-Onger), Kei Hosogai (Basco Ta Jolokia in Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger) and Daiki Ise (singer of the Ressha Sentai ToQger opening and Shuriken Sentai Ninninger ending) will also be part of the cast.

Additionally, it has also been announced that each show will be followed by a small talking segment with the cast.
