The remaining Western Yokai, Ookamiotoko, was the one that killed Kinji’s father and older brother. Having found out, Takaharu entrusts the battle to Kinji. After having his loved ones insulted, Kinji cannot contain his anger and blindly attacks. Unable to fight at his fullest, he is defeated.
Yoshitaka, having seen this, severs the master-disciple tie with Kinji, saying that he cannot train someone who is moved by selfish motives like revenge and that he was following the path Izayoi Kyuuemon took. Kinji leaves the dojo and Kyuuemon appears before him. They say that they will share the same power they have in order to defeat Ookamiotoko, but…
