Kamen Rider Drive and Ninninger Movie Debuts at 6th in Japan

This year’s Kamen Rider and Super Sentai summer films opened over the past weekend, debuting at 6th place in the box office ranking.

The double feature of Kamen Rider Drive: Surprise Future and Shuriken Sentai Ninninger THE MOVIE: The Dinosaur Lord’s Splendid Ninja Scroll  opened across 297 theaters in Japan this past weekend. Combined, they sold 213,289,350 yen (about $1.71 million) at the box office. This figure is slightly above last year’s Kamen Rider Gaim/ToQger double feature, which opened at 5th and $1,675,901 on its way to an eventual $8,405,854 take.
