Capsule Shift Car Premium Next Shift Car Set Announced

Premium Bandai has announced the release of the Next Shift Car Set, the trio of Shift Cars used by Kamen Rider Dark Drive in the Kamen Rider Drive Surprise Future film.

In the upcoming film, Kamen Rider Dark Drive uses three all new Shift Cars called the “Next Shift Cars”, to go along with the Shift Next Special he uses to transform. This team consists of Shift Next Hunger (a repaint of Shift Justice Hunter), Shift Next Deco Traveler (a repaint of Shift Deco Traveler), and Shift Next Builder (a repaint of Shift Technic).

Each Next Shift Car features a black and blue deco to match the look of Dark Drive’s costume, with red, purple, and green accent colors respectively. Unfortunately, compatibility with the DX Drive Driver and DX Mach Driver is extremely limited. In the DX Drive Driver, no transformation or Tire Koukan sounds will be made, instead, Mr. Belt will simply emote negatively to the insertion of the evil Shift Car. In the DX Mach Driver, each Shift Car activates a “Moikkai!” (“One more time!”) phrase.

The set of three Shift Cars are currently up for pre-order at Premium Bandai for ¥2,592 before fees. Pre-orders will close on September 30th, 2015 at 11:00 PM JST. The Next Shift Cars will be shipped to all customers in December 2015.
