A preview for Episode 41 of the Indonesian tokusatsu series, Satria Garuda BIMA-X, shows Tetsuo Kurata in a vital role.

Tetsuo Kurata, who portrayed Minami Kotaro in Kamen Rider BLACK and Kamen Rider BLACK RX in the 80s, will appear as a character in Satria Garuda BIMA-X. Kurata will play the role of Satria Naga and is the former master of Reza, the dark warrior Azazel. Kurata’s character was teased at the end of the show’s 40th episode. For his role in the show, Kurata will be speaking his lines in Indonesian.

Satria Garuda BIMA-X is the sequel to BIMA Satria Garuda, the first full Indonesian tokusatsu television show. The show is being filmed with help from Toei directors and writers, notably Kamen Rider Drive head writer Riku Sanjo who pens various scripts. The series were created by Indonesian producer Reino Barack, who was inspired by the Indonesian dubs of Kamen Rider BLACK and BLACK RX that he watched as a child.

Kurata appeared earlier this year on an Indonesian talk show along with the BIMA-X cast. Episode 41 will air on June 21st.
