Toku Actors Fill Roles in New Movie “KIRI: Shokugyo Koroshiya Gaiden”

Various past toku actors join forces together for a new movie, KIRI: Shokugyu Koroshiya Gaiden.

The movie is based on the manga Shokugyo Koroshiya, or Occupation: Assassin. The follow is a synopsis for the manga:

“Enter Shokugyo Koroshiya, an underground website that allows hired killers to bid for the lowest amount to take the paying job that they want. Kumo, the top killer of the agency must keep killing to keep a memory hidden. While he continues to kill, along with Megumi the Mantis, and KEI, the 14 year old owner of the website, what dangers await him and the rest of the team at Shokugyo Koroshiya.”

The movie stars several past tokusatsu actors, some who’ve played small roles and some who have played major characters. Here is the list of actors starring in the film that have a tokusatsu background.

  • Yuki Kubota – Kamen Rider Zangestu in Kamen Rider Gaim
  • Yumiko Shaku – Akane Yashiro in Godzilla x Mecha Godzilla
  • Ayami Misaki – Escape in Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters
  • Arisa Komiya – Yellow Buster in Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters
  • Atsushi Arai – Kamen Rider Poseidon in Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider Fourze & OOO: Movie War Mega Max
  • Yuka Oonishi – Sukeban Keiji III
  • Yasuaki (David) Kurata – Bouken Red’s dad in Gogo Sentai Boukenger, GARO: Yami O Terasu Mono

The film is directed by Koichi Sakamoto, written by Hidehiro Ito. The original manga was created by Hideaki Nishikawa.

The movie releases June 20th in theaters and comes out on DVD on October 7.
