The annual Chicago convention will feature Millenium Godzilla director Masaaki Tezuka, among others.
G-Fest, the annual Godzilla and kaiju-centric convention, recently announced Masaaki Tezuka as their 2015 Guest of Honor. Tezuka is the director of three Godzilla films from Millenium era, Godzilla vs. Megaguirus, Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla, and its sequel Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S. Tezuka previously served as an Assistant Director on some Heisei-era kaiju films before making his directorial debut with vs. Megaguirus.
Other guests include Robert Scott Field, the actor who portrayed the M-11 android in Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah, kaiju historian August Ragone, and J.D. Lees, editor of G-Fan magazine.
The convention will be held from July 10th to 12th at the Crown Plaza Chicago O’Hare.
