Armor Hero XT English Dub Release

The official YouTube channel for Armor Hero has begun posting episodes in English.
Armor Hero, the Chinese tokusatsu series that began in 2008 has spawned two sequels, Armor Hero XT and Armor Hero Lava. The official YouTube channel for the series has been posting daily episodes of the second entry into the series, the 60 episode XT, dubbed in English.

Do we need to have seen the first series to understand this, or is it stand alone?

Excellent. Though they appear to have the original series up dubbed in English too, so I’ll probably finish that one off before starting this new one.
