Ultraman Ginga and X Talk About Possible Sequels and Swap Jackets
Takuya Negishi and Kensuke Takahashi appear at the Ultraman Festival 2018.
A live event called “TAMASHII NATIONS presents New Generation Heroes Night” was held during the Ultraman Festival 2018. The event featured Takuya Negishi, who played Hikaru from Ultraman Ginga, and Kensuke Takahashi, who played Daichi from Ultraman X.
It’s been five years since Ginga broadcasted. I was 16 at the time and now I’m 22. I have no idea when I would ever wear this jacket again, but perhaps in a new movie? Thank you. – Negishi
If everyone voices for it, then I believe we could have a new sequel. Maybe if you also purchase toys that could contribute. – Takahashi
After their comments, both Negishi and Takahashi swap jackets in front of everyone, and the latter comments on how big the former’s is. “This jacket is so big. The hem is so long.”
The event also included the two directors, Koichi Sakamoto, who directed Ultraman Ginga S, and Kiyotaka Taguchi, who directed Ultraman X.
