Kamen Rider Fourze’s Sota Fukushi to Star in Live-Action Laughing Under the Clouds

The live-action film adaption of Laughing Under the Clouds stars Kamen Rider Fourze‘s Sota Fukushi alongside several tokusatsu alums.

Laughing Under the Clouds streamed its first trailer on Saturday and showcased Sota Fukushi (Kisaragi Gentarou, Kamen Rider Fourze) as the film’s protagonist, Tenka Kumō. The story is set in the 11th year of the Meiji era where a number of people are dissatisfied with the government’s Westernization and their ban on samurai. To curb the increased crime rate, the government opens a new prison and the Kumo brothers are in charge of transporting criminals to the new prison, not knowing the adventure that awaits them.
