Godzilla Anime to Stream Worldwide on Netflix Later This Year

The Godzilla anime movie announced last year will see a worldwide release through Netflix.

Polygon Pictures will stream their upcoming Godzilla anime movie on Netflix this year. The studio is collaborating with TOHO, the studio behind the live action Godzilla series, to create this new entry into the series.

The movie will star Yuuki Kaji, Takahiro Sakurai, Mamoru Miyano (Ultraman Zero, Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger), Junichi Suwabe, Kana Hanazawa, and Tomokazu Sugita. Kamen Rider Gaim head writer Gen Urobuchi will write the script while Kobun Shizuno and Hiroyuki Seshita (Knights of Sidonia) are directing.
