Tamashii Nations Reveals Soul of Chogokin Megazord Combined Mode

Tamashii Nations has revealed the full combined Tank Mode and Megazord Mode for the upcoming Soul of Chogokin Megazord (Daizyujin).

The GX-72 Soul of Chogokin Megazord was first announced at Power Morphicon, on display as the five individual Dino Zords, stating that “battle mode will be initiated at NYCC!”. With the toy fully unveiled at Tamashii Nations’ booth at NYCC, the Japanese Tamashii Nations site has updated with the multiple photos of the Daizyujin release of the toy.

The Soul of Chogokin Megazord is comprised of the five main Dino Zords, each containing their own unique poseability and features, such as articulated tails, the Triceratops’ horns on chains, the Mastodon’s tusks, and more. Together they can form the Tank Mode, and further combine into the actual Megazord. Of course the set includes the Power Sword weapon as well.

Unlike previous transformable versions of the Megazord, the Soul of Chogokin release includes more points of articulation and more detail than ever before. The Japanese version of the toy will release in April, 2017 for ¥32,400. The US version of the toy has no specific release date, but is currently listed on Amazon.com for a June 15th, 2017 release for $299.99.
