Kazuhiko Shimamoto to Design Kamen Rider Ghost’s Monsters
Toei has announced Kazuhiko Shimamoto will design the Ganma monsters in Kamen Rider Ghost.
Shimamoto, who previously authored the Kamen Rider ZO and Skullman manga, and is best known for his semi autobiographical manga, Blue Blazes as well as his work on G Gundam, will design the creatures in Kamen Rider Ghost. In addition, the manga production studio, Big Bang Productions, will assist in creating the creature designs.
Within the show the Ganma are creatures that, along with the hero, are in search of the mysterious Eyecons, which must be tracked down within 99 days. The Eyecons are said to contain the spirits of great men and allow Takeru to transform into various forms.
