While not starring in this years’ series, Kamen Rider Gaim as Kamen Rider Ryugen, Mahiro Takasugi has been playing a lovesick student in Japanese Febreze commercials.

The commercials, titled “Febreeze at 17“, stars Takasugi as a student who can’t work out a way to talk to the girl he’s in love with at school. After receiving advice from his father about her disliking of bad smells, he rushes to use Febreze on everything he owns.

The series is split into episodes, with the third being the most current. It also stars Shuzo Matsuoka, a former famous tennis player who has since turned into an actor.

I've been floating around doing various things in the fandom for the past decade. Now living in Japan, writing news articles and occasionally starring in a show as "Only white guy in the background".

At least Micchy now has a second choice in case Mai dumps him… 😛 (Well, I think Mai already sort of did…)

Technically, Takasugi has been doing Febreze commercials before he was in Gaim for quite a while. He plays the older brother role for the shorter ones.
