The cast, crew, and synopsis for the upcoming Kamen Rider Gavv series were revealed on August 11, 2024 in Japan.

On August 11 in Japan, a livestream for the upcoming series Kamen Rider Gavv premiered on the official Kamen Rider YouTube channel. Along with a new teaser trailer, the cast, production crew, and story were revealed during the livestream. Additionally, a number of behind-the-scenes production details were shown as well. This series is the next installment of the Kamen Rider series following the conclusion of Kamen Rider Gotchard.

Synopsis

A looming threat of monsters, Granute,  from another world.

The humans don’t know. These monsters have secretly come to the human world.

The humans don’t know. These monsters are attacking and kidnapping humans.

To protect them, one boy has risen to the challenge!

Shouma, a young man who loves to eat, stands up to protect humanity from the Granute!

By eating sweets, he produces beings called “Gochizou” and gains the power to transform into Kamen Rider Gavv!

Shouma / Kamen Rider Gavv

Shouma is a young man that comes from the same world as the Granute monsters. In search of his missing mother, Shouma comes to the human world. By experiencing the new flavors of the human world, Shouma creates the Gochizou that allow him to transform into Kamen Rider Gavv and fight the Granute. He’s a bit of a glutton and loves all sweets.

Shouma is played by Hidekazu Chinen, who made his pre-series debut in Kamen Rider Gotchard: The Future Daybreak.

Hanto Karakida/ Kamen Rider Valen

Hanto is a bold freelance writer who follows criminal cases and other strange occurrences and pursues information about the Granute. When he encounters the Granute, Hanto eventually finds himself thrust into the fight against them and eventually transforms into Kamen Rider Valen.

Hanto Karakida is played by Yusuke Hino.

Amane Sachika

The energetic owner of the Hapipare general store who takes Shouma under her wing, Amane is cheerful and looks out for other people’s happiness.

Amane Sachika is played by Nozomi Miyabe.

Villains: Stomach Family

Rango Stomach

Menacing and charismatic, Rango is the oldest son of the evil Stomach family and serves as the leader of the Stomach family organization.

Rango Stomach is played by Takashi Tsukamoto.

Glotta Stomach

Alluring and strong, Grotta is the oldest sister of the Stomach family in charge of manufacturing sweets.

Grotta Stomach is played by Machi Chitose.

Nierve Stomach

Cold and scheming, Nierve is the second oldest brother of the Stomach family who oversees the group’s technological developments.

Nierve Stomach is played by Ryo Takizawa.

Theta & Jeep Stomach

Overseeing the procurement of ingredients, Theta and Jeep are the mischievous telepathic twins and the youngest of the Stomach family.

Theta Stomach is played by Honoka Kawasaki, and Jeep Stomach is played by Ruito Koga.

Kamen Rider Gavv‘s Theme Song Artist

The show’s theme song “Got Boost?” will be performed by the musical group FANTASTICS from EXILE GROUP.

Kamen Rider Gavv and Valen Suit Actors

Kamen Rider Gavv’s suit actor will be played by Yuya Nawata, who served as the main suit actor for Kamen Rider Zero-One and Kamen Rider Revi. Additionally, Kotaro Kaji will serve as the suit actor for Kamen Rider Valen.
