Ultraman Coming to New York Comic Con 2023

On September 6, 2023, Ultraman Connection announced that Ultraman, Ultraseven and Ultraman Blazar will appear in events throughout New York Comic Con 2023.

Hailing from a distant star system, three giants of light are barrelling towards the Jacob Javits Center in the city that never sleeps. From October 12-15, giants of light from the Ultraman, Ultraseven and Ultraman Blazar series will appear in several events and panels at New York Comic Con 2023 (NYCC).

NYCC is the largest Comic Con on the East Coast, seeing over 250,000 attendees from around the world each year. At NYCC 2022, Ultramen made appearances at several events, such as a screening of Shin Ultraman, a discussion of the ULTRAMAN anime, several meet & greets and more.

Ultraman Connection plans for this year’s events to be even bigger than last year’s. For any updates on Ultraman’s presence at NYCC 2023, check back here for more information.

UPDATE (September 12): Ultraman Connection announced on September 11, 2023 that the offerings in NYCC 2023 include Ultraman Connection and Ultraman Blazar Battle Stage Panels. The events are scheduled for October 12 and 13 respectively, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. EST

The Ultraman Connection Panel takes place in Room 408 on Thursday and features a discussion of Ultraman’s real life journey out of the land of the rising sun. Attendees will also have the chance to take home various prizes or come face to face with an Ultraman.

The “Bandai and Tsuburaya Productions Presents – Ultraman Blazar: Talk & Live Action Performance in NYCC 2023″ panel takes place in Room 405 on Friday. In it, Blazar will battle various kaiju that invade the panel room. There will also be an information section about upcoming toys, figures and the news relating to the Ultraman Franchise. At some point, there will be contests and prizes for attendants.
