Ultraman New Generation Stars Coming January 28
Following Ultraman Decker’s conclusion, a new series Ultraman New Generation Stars is set to air from January 28th.
Following the conclusion of Ultraman Decker‘s TV run, a brand new Ultra series titled Ultraman New Generation Stars is slated to air every Saturday from January 28th.
Synopsis
Evil closes in on Nebula M78 the Land of Light! An attack by a mysterious entity erases the memories of the “New Generation Ultraman” heroes. While the long-established bond between Ultra Heroes is challenged, the Land of Light receives a message sent from the future, entrusting them with a new device: the Dimensionizer. To regain their lost Star Chronicles, once more the New Generation Ultras come together to rise again!
The new “key item” of this series is the Dimensionizer. It is an item of Light sent to Ultraman Zero. By scanning an Ultra Dimension Card, it can replay the memories of it’s Ultra hero.
The show will also feature a brand-new opening song titled “STARS” by NEW GENERATION STARS with Voyager. A staple of modern Ultraman has been Voyager, a vocal unit that debuted in 2009. They gained popularity in 2010 from their song “Susume! Ultraman Zero,” written for Ultraman Zero The Movie, and they have since produced music for many of the New Generation Ultraman projects. This new song is said to be a “…fun-filled anthem dedicated to the history of the New Generation.”
Ultraman New Generation Stars will begin airing every Saturday, 9:00-9:30 AM (JST) from January 28th, 2023 through the TV Tokyo Network.
