S.H. Figuarts Reveals Figure of Don Momotaro

Super Sentai makes another return to S.H. Figuarts with the leader of Avataro Sentai Donbrothers.

Don Momotaro from Avataro Sentai Donbrothers has made his way into S.H. Figuarts, which is now available for pre-order. The articulation of the figure line allows Don Momotaro to assume the poses he’s seen using in promotional visuals.

His distinct sunglasses-style visor and topknot hairstyle are accurately replicated from the show. Peach markings on his forehead and buckle are painted with a strong glossy finish, reminiscent of the materials used on the suit. Attention to detail is involved with the difference in texture between the different parts of the body, using glossy red and matte black.

His transformation gun, the Don Blaster, is small in size but features fine painted detailing. The large gear part can be rotated. His personal weapon, the Zangura Sword, is also accurately replicated. The blade is made with clear yellow parts to resemble the prop’s unlit state. Both feature tamp printing, and have the same fine dot patterns that are seen on the props in the show.

Apart from clenched fists, the figure features a variety of other swappable hands, including ones for holding the gun and sword, as well as a hand with an extended index finger.
