Kamen Rider Vail Spin-off Episode: Cast Announcement

The two main cast members for the upcoming Kamen Rider Revice spin-off has been announced.

Details on two cast members for the upcoming Revice Legacy: Kamen Rider Vail special have been announced. Masanari Wada will portray a young Genta Igarashi, who was formerly known as Junpei Shiranami. Likewise, tokusatsu veteran Sakurako Ookubo will portray Yukimi.

The special episode will be available on the streaming service Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club. The spin-off episode, written by Nobuhiro Mori and directed by Koichi Sakamoto, will focus on Genta Igarashi and his transformation into Kamen Rider Vail before the events of Kamen Rider Revice.

This story takes place about 25 years ago — before the Igarashi siblings were born. A man was brought to Noah, a scientific research organization, mortally wounded on the brink of death. That man: Junpei Shiranami, had Giff cells transplanted into him by Masumi Karizaki, and escaped death. He is given the Vail Driver and is forced to become the Strongest Devil Hunter Junpei, whose parents were killed by the Red Devil, becomes Kamen Rider Vail with vengeance in his heart, and continues to fight Devils, but…

Revice Legacy: Kamen Rider Vail will be available on the Toei Tokusatsu Fanclub streaming service from 10am on March 27.
