Five Kamen Rider Films Teased For Physical Release

Media Blasters teased the North American release of three 90’s era Kamen Rider films, and the two reboot films (The First and The Next), in a series of cryptic tweets.

Last week, independent film distributor Media Blasters made three cryptic tweets teasing the release of five older Kamen Rider movies. Three of these are the 90’s era films, Shin: Kamen Rider Prologue, Kamen Rider ZO, and Kamen Rider J.

The Media Blasters tweet embedded below shows all three of the aforementioned Kamen Riders without giving any information. Since Media Blasters has released other tokusatsu films for North American audiences in the past such as Zeiram, the tone of this tweet suggests a formal announcement will soon be made.

The very same day, two other tweets were posted with posters for Kamen Rider The First and Kamen Rider The Next. Both of these tweets appear to reference the original tweet and suggest that all five movies will see an official North American release in the near future.

The only confirmed information appeared in a tweet made three days later in which Media Blasters confirmed the existence of a box set which will include the 9-minute short film, Kamen Rider World.

This short film features Kamen Rider ZO and Kamen Rider J teaming up to face the evil Shadow Moon, enemy of Kamen Rider Black, who has now turned giant. No other information about an upcoming release has been revealed as of now, but this hasn’t stopped excited fans from tweeting about the tease.

For now, fans will have to wait for confirmation on how, when, or even if all five films will see release and to see what else the previously mentioned box set will include.
