Kamen Rider Black Sun Cast Announcement

The lead cast for the upcoming film was revealed at the TAMASHII NATION ONLINE 2021 event.

Staff who are working on the upcoming Kamen Rider Black Sun project were revealed today at the TAMASHII NATION ONLINE 2021 event.

Shinji Higuchi, who is in charge of the concept visuals of Kamen Rider Black Sun. The lead actors of the series were also announced: Hidetoshi Nishijima and Tomoya Nakamura, who will play Kamen Rider Black Sun and Kamen Rider Shadowmoon respectively.

Both actors are huge names in the Japanese entertainment. Nishijima most recently appeared in the movie version of What Did You Eat Yesterday?, a television drama of the same name while Nakamura has appeared in Coffee Ikaga Deshō, the live-action version of a manga series of the same name.

Below are their actor comments:

Hidetoshi Nishijima: Since it is directed by Shiraishi, I am sure that it will be a deep and profound socially-oriented human drama. I will make it a film that adults can enjoy and also for children so they can carry Kamen Rider in their hearts! I want to do my best and risk my life to take on this challenge. I would like to take on this role with everything in my power and everything I have.

Tomoya Nakamura: In true Shiraishi fashion, I have a feeling that this will be a work where we can enjoy the story of people, history, catharsis, the true spirit of Kamen Rider, and the pain that Black carries with him.

In addition to that, a visual of the Kamen Rider Black Sun suit was revealed.
