Avataro Sentai Donbrothers Trademark Registered By Toei

A new trademark for the 46th Super Sentai series Avataro Sentai Donbrothers has been filed by Toei Productions.

Toei has applied a new trademark for the 46th Super Sentai series under the name Avataro Sentai Donbrothers. The trademark has recently been approved by the Japanese Intellectual Property Database. This series will succeed the 45th installment of the franchise, Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger. This new series is filed under the trademark 2021-129406〜2021-129427.

The “Ava” in the title means violent while “taro” is a traditional name ending for boys. The “taro” naming method has been used in other works, such as folktale The Tale of Momotaro. Ryotaro and Kotaro Nogami (Kamen Rider Den-O), along with Kotaro Minami (Kamen Rider Black), all have used this “taro” naming method as well.
