Ultraman Trigger’s New Form and Ultraman Ribut to Fight Together in Upcoming Episodes

Ultraman Trigger will fight alongside Ultraman Ribut in his new “Glitter Trigger Eternity” form in an upcoming episode of Ultraman Trigger

Following the recent announcement of Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Destined Crossroad, Tsuburaya Productions has announced that upcoming episodes of Ultraman Trigger: New Generation Tiga will feature a new “god-like” form called the “Glitter Trigger Eternity.” This new form serves as a homage to the Glitter Tiga form seen in Ultraman Tiga‘s finale, and will be appearing by the end of Ultraman Trigger‘s first half.

Following this, in Ultraman Trigger‘s second half, our hero will briefly be joined by Ultraman Ribut. During this time, a human form for Ribut is to be played by actor Shimba Tsuchiya. Mr. Tsuchiya is the younger brother of Tao Tsuchiya, the lead heroine of Ultraman Zero: The Revenge of Belial, and was awarded as the Best New Actor in the 15th Seiyu Awards.

Shimba Tsuchiya gave the following quote about his role in Trigger:

I had a major admiration for superheroes in my youth. When I was in ninth grade, I started attending the action studio created by Hideyoshi Iwata, who has been playing the main Ultra Heroes in recent years, from there on my 3 years in high school was all about action training. At the timing when I was about to enter university, my tutor Iwata told me to start thinking seriously about my future and what I really want to do for the rest of my life. My answer to this was to become a voice actor. 7 years has passed and today I am finally going to play a role in the Ultraman series. I hope I am able to connect the light shined from Ultraman Trigger with the light that I received from the heroes I looked up to as a child.

New episodes of Ultraman Trigger: New Generation Tiga are broadcast on TV Tokyo in Japan every Saturday at 9:00 a.m. At 9:30 a.m, episodes are released to YouTube for international audiences.
