Kamen Rider Series Kamen Rider Tamagotchi 50th Anniversary Ver. Revealed

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Kamen Rider, Premium Bandai announced the Kamen Rider Series Kamen Rider Tamagotchi 50th Anniversary Ver.

This is a Kamen Rider 50th anniversary × Tamagotchi 25th anniversary collaboration product. It contains more than 40 Kamen Riders from Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras.

In this product, a total of more than 40 types of past Kamen Riders of the Kamen Rider Series, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2021, can be raised, and the history of the Kamen Riders can be experienced with the “Tamagotchi”, making it a product specification suitable for each anniversary. There are also more than 7 secret Kamen Riders included, making this the largest collection of 40 in the Tamagotchi nano series (monochrome LCD & simple care).

The main unit comes in two designs: “Genesis Green,” based on the image of Kamen Rider 1, and “Legacy Gold,” based on the image of the final power-up form that has appeared frequently throughout the history of Kamen Rider, from the Showa era to the Reiwa era.

Let’s train your favorite Kamen Rider! Mini-games are included! By taking care of the “Shounen Kamen Rider,” which is the basic character at the start of the game, and playing mini-games, you can develop him into a variety of Kamen Riders. The two mini-games are “Rider Kick” and “Challenge Ride,” both of which are based on the world view of Kamen Rider. In “Rider Kick,” you hit the button while the Kamen Rider displayed on the screen is running. In the “Challenge Ride” game, players try to make the Kamen Rider run while avoiding obstacles.

This product will also be available at the Kamen Rider Store (including pop-up stores). It is scheduled for retail release in late December 2021 or later. The content of the game is the same for all colors. Please note that Bandai does not sell protective sheets for LCD screens.

Each Tamagotchi measures approx. 40 mm (H) x approx. 30 mm (W) x approx. 25 mm (D). It is made of ABS, PC, and SI. The Tamagotchi requires two LR44 batteries (included). The batteries in the set are for testing purposes only.

The Kamen Rider Series Kamen Rider Tamagotchi 50th Anniversary Ver. will go for 2,530 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in December 2021. Preorders are being accepted starting July 16, 2021, at 11:00 JST until August 17, 2021, at 23:00 JST.
