The poster and trailer of the upcoming Kamen Rider and Super Sentai anniversary movie Super Hero Senki have been revealed. The movie will open in theaters in Japan on July 22.

In celebration of Kamen Rider’s 50th and Super Sentai’s 45th anniversaries, the upcoming collaboration movie Super Hero Senki brings both franchises together and heralds the reappearance of various characters from past series, including:

  • the legendary warrior from Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger, Doggie Kruger / Deka Master,
  • the four main Imagin from Kamen Rider Den-O,
  • the young company president, Kamen Rider Zero-One,
  • Kamen Rider Zi-O, the last Kamen Rider of the Heisei era,

and many more!

While not seen in the trailer, Toei revealed other actors returning to reprise their roles such as Kamen Rider Den-O’s Owner (played by Kenjiro Ishimaru), conductor of the time-traveling train DenLiner, and Kousei Kougami (played by Takashi Ukaji), president of the Kougami Foundation from Kamen Rider OOO.

In the story of Super Hero Senki, Kamen Rider Saber and Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger‘s worlds are mixing together. Their shared enemy, Asmodeus (played by Ayumi Tanida) has been released from a forbidden book, and a mysterious young boy (played by Fuku Suzuki) appears. What is the boy’s role, and how does he fit into Asmodeus’s plans???

Fuku Suzuki’s Remarks

In Super Hero Senki, I play a mysterious boy who holds the key to the story.

I’ve been a huge, HUGE fan of Kamen Rider and Super Sentai since I was three. Five years ago for Kamen Rider’s 45th anniversary, I told a magazine that I’d love to appear in something for Kamen Rider’s 50th, but to be a guest for an anniversary movie like Super Hero Senki? To think my dreams would come true like this! I’m just so happy! In my 17 years, this has to be the best moment of my life!!! I jumped out of my seat when they offered me the role!

I’m just so grateful to my family for supporting my dreams of becoming a Kamen Rider and of appearing on a Rider production. And I couldn’t hold back my excitement when I read the script!! The days we filmed were so fun, but it was all over in a flash (*laughs*). I really put everything I had into this role, even as I went home thinking, “How did I even get myself here in the hero world?”

Super Hero Senki is full of heroism, and it’s a movie made for the fans. I think the best part is where all of the Super Sentai reds and Kamen Riders appear together!! Let’s really turn it up for Kamen Rider’s 50th and Super Sentai’s 45th anniversaries!
