“Ultraman Connection Live: Sevenger Fight” Virtual Event Announced

Tsuburaya Productions and Iceberg Theory bring the Sevenger Fight miniseries with English subtitles internationally through a virtual event.

Iceberg Theory (a joint venture between Starlight Runner Entertainment and Elevate Pictures) and Tsuburaya Imagination announced an exclusively virtual event, titled Ultraman Connection Live: Sevenger Fight, that will debut the Sevenger Fight miniseries with English subtitles to international fans.

This virtual event will feature:

• The 7-episode main storyline of the Sevenger Fight miniseries with English subtitles for the first time outside of Japan
• Special guest interviews with Rima Matsuda (who plays Yoko Nakashima, one of Sevenger’s pilots), Takaya Aoyagi (STORAGE’s captain Shota Hebikura and the alien Jugglus Juggler), and series director Kiyotaka Taguchi
• Sean Nichols, American star of 2005-2006’s Ultraman Max, as the event host

Jeff Gomez, CEO of Starlight Runner Entertainment and a tokusatsu fan himself, says this about the upcoming event:

Sevenger Fight Collectors Pin

As of June 3rd, 2021 attendees of the event now have the option to exchange their event ticket for a digital collectible a few days after the event ends. This exclusive collectible will be usable in future Ultraman Connection events and will unlock extra content for owners. This was originally advertised as an NFT, but Ultraman Connection has changed the wording to “digital collectible.” An NFT (Non-fungible token) is a system used for digital products which verifies owners of a digital item.

Sevenger is a popular robot character from 2020’s Ultraman series Ultraman Z. Episodes of Ultraman Z are available to watch on YouTube on the ULTRAMAN OFFICIAL Channel, and Sevenger Fight is currently available to fans in Japan through Tsuburaya’s streaming service Tsuburaya Imagination. In his popularity, Sevenger also has a running manga in Televi-kun magazine.
