Official Guidebook For ‘Character’ Starring Masaki Suda Announced

The official guidebook for the upcoming film Character, starring Kamen Rider W’s Masaki Suda, has been announced.

TOHO’s upcoming crime thriller film Character is set to release on June 11th. To coincide with the film’s release, an official guidebook published by Takarajimasha has will release on May 21st. Character focuses on Keigo Yamashiro (played by Kamen Rider W‘s Masaki Suda), an aspiring manga artist, struggling with his inability to create villains. After witnessing a murder, Yamashiro bases a villain for his manga on the killer he saw. When his manga becomes a hit, suspicion is raised by the manga’s similarities to recent murder cases.

This book will feature an interview with actor Fukase, behind the scenes, and off-set photos of the cast members, the “34” manga seen in the film, and more spread across 96 pages. The Character Official Guidebook is priced on Amazon at 1,980 yen (new) and is set to release on May 21, 3 weeks before the film premieres.
