Kamen Rider Kiva’s Koji Seto to Star in New Drama
Koji Seto, who played Wataru Kurenai in Kamen Rider Kiva, plays the main role in the new drama Male Copywriter, Take Childcare Leave.
The cast of WOWOW’s drama Male Copywriter, Take Childcare Leave has been announced. Koji Seto, who played Wataru Kurenai in Kamen Rider Kiva, will play the main role as Yosuke Uogashi.
The drama follows Yosuke as he takes six months of childcare leave from his job as a copywriter. The comedy ‘depicts the anxiety, struggle, and fun-filled six months of childcare leave’ he experiences. The drama is directed by Junta Yamaguchi. The drama’s script is written by Toru Hosukawa, who previously wrote the movie Hikita-san! I’m pregnant.
Alongside Kurenai, Yosuke’s wife is played by Kumi Takiuchi, who must overcome her apprehensions about her husband taking leave. Other actors announced include Yusuke Shoji, who will play art director Kajiwara, and Narushi Ikeda, who will play sales manager Ryo Chigara.
Male Copywriter, Take Childcare Leave will be broadcast 6 times on WOWOW Prime from July 9th in installments of two episodes. From the same day, all 12 episodes will be avaliable on WOWOW on-demand
