Ultimate Luminous Gomora Figure Announced

Premium Bandai announced their latest release in the Ultimate Luminous figure series, the Ultimate Luminous Gomora from the original Ultraman series. 

Gomora is an ancient dinosaur-like Kaiju species from Earth. It first appeared in episode 26 of the original series, and was the first Kaiju capable of fighting an Ultra Warrior to a draw. Certain incarnations of it are portrayed as comrades to respective series protagonists. Thanks to his species starring in some of the Ultraman Series’ most iconic episodes and battles, Gomora has become one of the most frequently recurring monsters in the series.

Gomora appears in Ultimate Luminous figure line. The makers are particular about coloring the horns and replicating the characteristic red pattern realistically. Replacement tail parts are also included, and you can recreate scenes in the TV series by replacing it. it is also linked with the Gomorra (Appearance ver.) of the Gashapon product “Ultimate Tsuburaya Monster Expo” which is scheduled to be released in April 2021.

It comes with chin parts to recreate a scene with the mouth open. The set comes with Gomora, replacement tail parts, and Luminous unit. The body is made of PVC while the light emitting unit is made of MABS / POM / Epoxy. The figure measures an overall height of approximately 130 mm.

The Ultimate Luminous Gomora figure from the original Ultraman series will go for 6,000 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in July 2021. Preorders are being accepted starting April 2, 2021, at 11:00 JST.
