Kyoryuger’s Akihisa Shiono to Appear in “Colorful Love” Drama

Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger’s green ranger has been cast as Ryoichiro Okuda in the drama Colorful Love: Genderless Danshi ni Aisareteimasu. 

Akihisa Shino, known to tokusatsu fans as Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger’s green ranger, will appear as Ryoichiro Okuda in the drama Colorful Love: Genderless Danshi ni Aisareteimasu.

Colorful Love‘s premise follows the daily life of Wako Machida, and her androgynous boyfriend Meguru Soma. The show is based on a manga of the same name. The manga, created by Tamekou, has been ongoing since 2018.  As described by MyAnimeList: “She spends her days working hard in the world of publishing, while he spends his time obsessing over fashion and makeup—all with the goal of making himself beautiful just for her. This romantic slice-of-life story is about love, relationships, and breaking with tradition!”

Shino will join the cast as Ryoichiro Okuda, a strong-willed office president. He will join fellow tokusatsu alumni Rihito Itagaki. Itagaki played Heure in Kamen Rider Zi-O, and now plays the lead role of Meguru Soma. Also joining the cast are Takuya Kusakawa and Keiji Kuroki.

Colorful Love currently airs on YomiuriTV.
