Seven Seas Entertainment Acquires Kamen Rider – The Classic Manga Collection
Original Kamen Rider manga by Shotaro Ishinomori is set for hardback release later this year with a new translation.
Seven Seas Entertainment recently announced the acquisition of the license to Kamen Rider – The Classic Manga Collection by Shotaro Ishinomori. The complete 4-volume original run of the manga will be released in English in a special 50th anniversary single, large-trim hardcover omnibus. The new release will be over 800 pages long, containing the entirety of Volumes 1-4 of Kamen Rider in an all-new translation and will be released in December 2021 for $32.99.
Kidnapped and experimented upon by the evil terrorist organization known as Shocker, Takeshi Hongo manages to escape their clutches and use his newfound strength to fight against their schemes as the motorcycle-riding cyborg hero known as Kamen Rider. Later on, Hongo is joined in his quest for justice by Hayato Ichimonji as the second Kamen Rider.
Seven Seas Entertainment had previously announced their acquisition of the Himitsu Sentai Gorenger manga, which will release in April.
