Marvel Comics Announces The Trials of Ultraman

The new series will be a follow up to the previous The Rise of Ultraman comic series.

Marvel announced today that the new comic series will be titled The Trials of Ultraman and will have writers Kyle Higgins and Mat Groom and artist Francesco Manna again tackling the mythos of Ultraman that has received acclaim from both new and old fans alike. This continues the collaboration between Marvel and Tsuburaya Productions to create the Ultraman comic line.

The Trials of Ultraman will take place immediately after the finale of The Rise of Ultraman, and deal with the fallout of the conclusion, with many regarding the world’s protectors with suspicion. Shin Hayata will have to navigate this new world where even his closest confidants may not have faith in him, but he won’t be facing it alone.

The Trials of Ultraman is set to release in March of next year.
