MMPR And Ultraman Comic Writer Kyle Higgins Creates New Hero Comic “Radiant Black”

Radiant Black will feature an incidental finding of powers, with the realization that the powers are someone else’s who wants them back.

Kyle Higgins, most known by tokusatsu fans as a writer on the comic series for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Ultraman, is back with a new hero’s story to tell. The new series, called Radiant Black, is touted as being a comic that “reinvents superheroes for a new generation”.

The story follows Nathan Burnett, a 30 year old who is down on his luck until he discovers cosmic powers. It isn’t long before he discovers that the powers are not exactly his to keep, and he is now a primary target for the Cosmic Beings.

The comic series will be published through Image Comics and can be expected to release on February 21, 2021.
