Kane Kosugi Discusses Reprising Ultraman Powered in New Interview

Actor Kane Kosugi discussed his upcoming reprisal of Ultraman Powered for Ultra Galaxy Fight – The Absolute Conspiracy.

Kane Kosugi, the English voice actor for Ultraman Powered, gave an exclusive interview on the Ultraman Official YouTube channel, in which he discussed reprising his role for Ultra Galaxy Fight – The Absolute Conspiracy.

“I feel really lucky to revisit Ultraman Powered after 27 years,” Kosugi said.

Ultraman Powered was the featured hero of Ultraman: The Ultimate Hero (released as Ultraman Powered in Japan), the first show in the Ultra series to be produced in the United States. A co-production of Major Havoc Entertainment and Tsuburaya Productions in 1993, the show was ultimately never broadcast in America.

Kosugi’s Ultraman Powered will appear in Ultra Galaxy Fight – The Absolute Conspiracy, the first installment in the Ultra series to release simultaneously worldwide. The first episode is currently available on the Ultraman Official YouTube channel. Each of the series’ 10 episodes will have Japanese and English dubbed versions available upon release.

“I hope you guys enjoy watching this as much as I’ve been able to work on this,” Kosugi said.
