Kamen Rider Gaim Coming To Toei Tokusatsu YouTube Channel for Viewers in Japan
The 2013 series Kamen Rider Gaim will be streamed on Toei’s Japanese YouTube Channel for a limited time.
Toei has revealed that all 47 episodes of Kamen Rider Gaim will be distributed free of charge starting on November 28 on the Toei Tokusatsu YouTube Official channel, which is region-locked to Japan only. This news comes after the release of the latest installment, Gaim Gaiden: Kamen Rider Gridon VS Kamen Rider Bravo, a project to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the series. Each episode of Kamen Rider Gaim will be open to the public for a week, but only the first episode will be available until the release of the final episode on May 15, 2021.
Originally broadcast in 2013 with Gen Urobuchi as head writer, Kamen Rider Gaim follows young street dancer Kouta Kazuraba as he slowly begins to become entangled in the mysterious Yggdrasil Corporation and its plans for Zawame City. After discovering the existence of Helheim Forest and that a popular street game is being played with invading interdimensional monsters called Inves, Kouta finds the power to become the Armored Rider known as Gaim with the intention to fight them off. As other Armored Riders join the fray with the threat of Helheim Forest looming ever larger, Kouta and those around him are lead to make increasingly drastic decisions. The series starred Gaku Sano, Yutaka Kobayashi, Mahiro Takasugi, Yuumi Shida, Yuki Kubota, Minami Tsukui, Metal Yoshida, and Ryo Matsuda.
