First Preview of SSSS.DYNAZENON Released

Alongside the first video preview of the series, new information about the series has also been divulged.

Tsuburaya Productions and Studio TRIGGER recently released the first preview video of their newest anime project, SSSS.DYNAZENON, the sequel to SSSS.Gridman on October 5. Along with the preview, information regarding the setting of the anime as well as the cast and crew have been revealed.

Set against the music of Shirou Sagisu, the preview trailer shows off the main cast along with their voice actors. Main character Gauma will be voiced by Daiki Hamano, Yomogi Asanaka by Junya Enoki, Yume Minami by Shion Wakayama, Yamanaka Koyomi by Yuichiro Umehara, and Chise Asukagawa by Chika Anzai. The preview shows the characters in their daily lives but with some unsettling imagery in the backgrounds as well as a final shot of Dyna Dragon before the video ends. The script will be handled by Keiichi Hasegawa, with character designs by Masaru Sakamoto.

Further, along with the release of the preview, it has been announced that Graphinica will be in charge of the 3DCG portions of SSSS.DYNAZENON.

The title of the series is a portmanteau of the names of Dyna Dragon and God Zenon, the assist mechas that appeared in the original Gridman. No release date for SSSS.DYNAZENON has been announced yet, but there is an official site with series information as well as an official Twitter account with up-to-date news.
