“Brush of the God” Kickstarter Looks to Fans for Help
Monster creator Keizo Murase is looking to create his “first and last film”.
Murase, who helped bring creatures such as Mothra, Varan, and Daimajin to life has started a Kickstarter as he seeks to create “Brush of the God”, what he calls his “first and last” film.
Brush of the God is described as an original story developed by Murase during “The Mighty Peking Man”‘s production.
The project will also include monster designs from Akira Takahashi, who has worked on various Kamen Rider series, as well as Shinji Nishikawa, who recently worked on Studio Trigger’s SSSS. Gridman, the popular anime adaptation of Tsuburaya’s Denko Chojin Gridman
The project is said to bring to life many creatures from Japanese myths and folklore.
Brush of the God’s Kickstarter will be active through November first and has currently raised $9,365.
