Garo Red Requiem’s Yosuke Saito Passes Away Due to Cancer

Yosuke Saito, who portrayed Akaza in the Garo: Red Requiem film passes away due to cancer.

According to his agency, Saito underwent surgery for pharynx cancer back in July and started receiving chemotherapy earlier this month to prevent a relapse. On Saturday evening, he felt ill during dinner and went to the hospital. Shortly after, he passed away.

His agent said that he had just spoken with Saito a few days before regarding work for the future and appeared to be healthy. He was shocked by the news.

Saito was 69 at the time of his death.
