Ultraman Crosses With Super Mario Thanks To Bid Toys

Bid Toys re-imagines Super Mario in Ultraman’s image as “Ma-Nultra” and Bowser as “Koobala” in new photos uploaded online.

Bid Toys, a Japanese toy maker known for pop culture mashups, has used figures to turn Nintendo’s mascot into Japanese tokusatsu icon Ultraman. In a special album shared on Facebook, Mario takes on the likeness of Ultraman and taking the name Ma-Nultra as he prepares to battle his longtime nemesis. Bowser, meanwhile, is designed as a kaiju called Koobala which is a play on his old name, King Koopa.

There is currently no word on whether Big Toys will be selling the Ma-Nultra and Koobala figures pictured above, but their blog can be found at this link.
