GARO -VERSUS ROAD- Cast Revealed
The full cast of the latest season in the Garo franchise, GARO -VERSUS ROAD-, was unveiled.
In addition to the announcement of GARO -VERSUS ROAD-, additionally cast members were also revealed. The following are included in the cast list of the new season:
Amou Ryousuke, portrayed by Yuhi (BOYS AND MEN), is a lone wolf bartender
Nagumo Taisuke, portrayed by Tokito, is a videographer.
Kouzuki Takane, portrayed by Toman, is an apparel shop owner.
Hoshiai Shouri, portrayed by Shimizu Naoya, is the main character’s best friend.
Kanata Dai, portrayed by Kadoshita Shutaro, is the leader of a criminal group who repeatedly fights with Amou.
GARO -VERSUS ROAD- will premiere in April 2020 with a start date to be decided.

I’d like to say i’m interested in this new series. But the concept just seems so…un-GARO to me. Really with how well The Makai Flower captured the original series aesthetic and tones, and how its performances made it my favourite series, I’m worried that making Garo into a more modern setting with more technological involvement will break the gothic appeal the series had.
That being said, i’m still willing to give it a shot.
