Godzilla vs Kong Release Date Delayed to November 2020
The fourth installment in Legendary’s Godzilla franchise, Godzilla vs. Kong, is now releasing November 2020.
Godzilla vs. Kong, the fourth installment the Legendary’s Godzilla series, has been delayed. The film, which puts up Godzilla and King Kong against each other, was planned to be released in March 2020 before this delay. This marks the second time the release date changed. Originally set for a summer 2020 release, the release date was first pushed up to March 2020. Godzilla vs. Kong’s new release date is now November 20th, 2020.
The cast of Godzilla vs. Kong announced so far have been Shun Oguri, which will be the actor’s first Hollywood role, Deadpool 2’s Julian Dennsion along with Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta), Demian Bichir (The Nun), Van Marten (Ant-Man and the Wasp), Rebecca Hall (Iron Man 3), Jessica Henwick (Iron Fist), Alexander Skarsgård (Big Little Lies, Tarzan) and Ziyi Zhang (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon). Writing for the film began in 2017 with Terry Rossio (Pirates of the Caribbean), J.D. Payne (Star Trek Beyond), T.S. Nowlin (Maze Runner), Jack Paglen (Transcendence), J. Michael Straczynski (Babylon 5), Patrick McKay, Lindsey Beer, and Cat Vasco. The film will be directed by Adam Wingard.
