Ultraman Anime Season 2 Announced By Netflix

Netflix’s Ultraman anime will be returning for a second season.

April saw the release of Netflix’s Ultraman anime, based on the manga of the same name. Now, with Ultraman Festival 2019 on the way, Netflix confirmed yesterday via Twitter that the second season of its Ultraman anime will be coming soon.

Ultraman follows an alternate story of what happened after Shin Hayata, the first Ultraman host, separated from the giant of light and lost his memories. After discovering his son, Shinjiro, inherited superhuman abilities, Shin’s memories of Ultraman returned just in time to face Bemular, a new alien threat. In order to face hostile aliens, Shinjiro takes control of the SSSP’s newly developed Ultraman armor alongside Seven and Ace, two other new Ultramen, to become the hero the world needs.

Ultraman season 2 will be coming soon to Netflix. Season 1 is currently streaming.
