Speaking on his role, Maeno stated, “No way?! I will play the role of Nobunaga Oda! I am glad I was able to participate in the scene with Sougo, Geiz, Woz and Tsukuyomi that was overflowing with Kamen Rider love. I watched Kamen Rider BLACK RX as a child, and started watching Kamen Rider Hibiki when I was a university student. However, I watched Kamen Rider Zi-O with my family. I also have my own Hibiki and Double Ride Watch! In this story, people from various times across past, present and future cross paths and create a new history. With the memories of the Kamen Rider that each character has, I hope you will see the creation of Sougo’s future!”
Wakabayashi stated, “I’ve never been involved in a Kamen Rider project, so I am very happy to be able to participate this time. Before I read the script, I had a faint hope that I might be transform into a Kamen Rider, but I saw the script and realized that I would not be able to. I still remember that the passion of the Kamen Rider staff on the first day. Speaking of Kamen Rider Faiz, when I was played with my friends when I was a child, I couldn’t pronounce Faiz properly so I always pronounced it, Paiz! Kamen Rider Zi-O is a compilation of the Heisei Kamen Rider, and my character has quite a large part. Please look forward to it!”
Kamen Rider Zi-O: Over Quartzer will release alongside Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger: Timeslip! Dinosaur Panic!! in the traditional double feature summer movie format with merchandise promotion. It will premiere in most Japanese theaters on June 14.
