Tsuburaya Productions Announces Redman Action Figure

The fan favorite monster fighting hero gets a new action figure this summer

Tsuburaya Productions released the first photos of a reissue figure for the classic kaiju fighter, Redman for the Hero Action Figure Series. Originally released in March 2018, the figure sports multiple points of articulation and comes with 4 different sets of interchangeable hands as well as the Red Knife and Red Arrow weapons.

The character was created in 1972 in short episodes showing the titular hero instigating and combating various kaiju from the Ultra series. In 2016, Tsuburaya’s official YouTube channel uploaded the series, which re-introduced the Internet to the noticeably more antagonistic and violent fights that the Redman series in known for. Artist Matt Frank and Gonçalo Lopes began producing the ongoing Redman: The Kaiju Hunter comic in November 2017 which was released in the US the following year.

The figure is set to be released in June for 8400 yen.
