Toei Channel to Air Entire Heisei Kamen Rider Franchise
With the Heisei era coming to an end, Toei Channel will be broadcasting every Heisei era Kamen Rider show, along with summer movies.
On April 30th 2019, the Heisei era will be ending, as Emperor Akihito is expected to abdicate the throne for another to take his place. The Heisei era will have spanned from 1989 to 2019.
In commemoration of the end of the Heisei era, Toei Channel will be broadcasting every Heisei Kamen Rider show. While the Heisei era began during Kamen Rider Black RX, there would not be a proper Heisei era show until 2000, with the debut of Kamen Rider Kuuga. This caused a new Kamen Rider boom which has continued into the present day.
This will be happening throughout April and May, and will cover the TV shows as well as their summer movies. Among them will be the Final Cut edition of Kamen Rider Den-O The Movie: Ore, Tanjou! and the Director’s Cut edition of Kamen Rider Decade The Movie: All Riders VS Dai-Shocker.
