Premium Bandai Announces Kamen Rider Blade and Ex-Aid “Why?” Shirts
Premium Bandai announced the release of “Tell Me Why?” shirts from Kamen Rider Blade and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid.
The Kamen Rider Blade “Tell Me Why?” shirt refers to a famous line from the end of episode 1. Kamen Rider Garren spys on Kamen Rider Blade fighting the Locust Undead from afar. This scene is memorable as “Why are you just watching!!” (なぜ見てるんです!! Naze miterun desu!!), which was the line delivered by Blade. This famous line is now printed on a t-shirt. The Kamen Rider Blade “Tell Me Why?” shirts will come in Japanese sizes S (US XS), M (US S), L (US M), and XL (US L) and are made with 100% cotton.
The Kamen Rider Ex-Aid “Tell Me Why?” shirt has a similar reference. In episode 18, Dan Kuroto/ Kamen Rider Genm (Tetsuya Iwanaga) reveals to Emu/ Kamen Rider Ex-Aid (Hiroki Ijima) his status as patient zero of the Bugster virus. One of the notable memes is him laughing madly at the sight of Emu’s subsequent outbreak. This “Why? (なぜ)” moment is also now printed on a t-shirt. The Kamen Rider Ex-Aid “Tell Me Why?” shirts will come in Japanese sizes S (US XS), M (US S), L (US M), and XL (US L) and are made with 100% cotton.
The Kamen Rider Blade and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid “Tell Me Why?” shirts will go for ¥3,999 (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in May 2019. Preorders are being accepted until April 21, 2019, at 23:00 JST.
