Kamen Rider X Monster Hunter Explore Event Announced

The mobile game for the popular Capcom franchise now offers chance to hunt monsters as a Kamen Rider.

It was announced this week that the Monster Hunter Explore mobile game will have a collaborative event featuring armor sets of four Kamen Riders including characters from Kamen Rider Den-O, Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, and the currently airing Kamen Rider Zi-O.

Each of the four armor sets will consist of a helmet, chest armor and leg armor to allow players to look exactly like each Rider as well as two weapons unique to each rider but modified to work in the context of the game.

Starting on February 15 though February 24, players will have the chance to get the armor sets to suit up as characters from Kamen Rider Zi-O.

• Kamen Rider Zi-O’s armor set will have the use of the Zikan Gilade functioning as either a Heavy Bowgun (Ju mode) or Long Sword (Ken mode) with its Giri Giri Slash finishing attack.
• Kamen Rider Geiz’ armor set will have access to the Zikan Zax which can function as either a Bow (Yumi mode) or Hammer (Ano mode) with its Zakkuri Cutting finishing attack.

Then, from February 26 to March 7th, the available armor sets will switch out for Kamen Rider Den-O and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, respectively.

• Den-O’s armor set will allow access to the Dengasher Sword Mode which functions as a Sword and Shield, as well as the Den-Kamen Sword which functions as a Great Sword with its corresponding Train Slash finishing attack.
• Kamen Rider Ex-Aid’s armor set will allow access to the Gashacon Breaker which functions as a Hammer as well as the Gashacon Key Slasher which functions as a Heavy Bowgun with its corresponding Critical Finish finishing attack.

Monster Hunter Explore is available for iOS and Android.
