Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FOREVER is Highest-Earning Solo Heisei Kamen Rider Film
Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FOREVER film celebrating the Heisei era of Kamen Rider hits a franchise landmark for winter movies.
In a press release this week from Toei, it has been confirmed that Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FOREVER has now become the highest highest-earning solo Heisei Kamen Rider film in the franchise, bringing in 1.545 billion yen ($13.96 million) as of this article. This is in addition to the film having the distinction of being the highest earning winter movie for the Kamen Rider franchise and also notably earning 1 billion yen in just 12 days.
The movie which primarily features the cast from Kamen Rider Zi-O, such as So Okuno (Sougo Tokiwa/Kamen Rider Zi-O), also stars Atsuhiro Inukai (Sento Kiryu/Kamen Rider Build), Eiji Akaso (Banjou Ryuga), Kouhei Takeda (Kazumi Sawatari), Kensei Mikami (Gentoku Himuro), and Kaho Takada (Misora Isurugi) all reprising their roles from Kamen Rider Build, and features voice cameos from Toshiki Kashu (Kamen Rider Agito), Shun Nishime (Kamen Rider Ghost), Takamasa Suga (Kamen Rider Ryuki), Masashiro Inoue (Kamen Rider Decade), and a surprise return by Takeru Satoh from Kamen Rider Den-O.
Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FOREVER debuted in theaters on December 22, 2018 and will be released on Blu-Ray and DVD in Japan on May 8th, 2019.
