Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FOREVER Crosses 1 Billion Yen
The final film in the Heisei era of Kamen Rider hits a landmark in just under 2 weeks.
Despite opening in 3rd place in its initial run, Kamen Rider Heisei Generations Forever as of January 2nd has managed to take in 1 billion yen ($9.27 million) at the box office, managing to achieve those numbers in just 12 days in theaters. Currently in 5th place at the box office in Japan, this accomplishment comes along with the movie having the highest opening numbers of any winter Kamen Rider movie release since 2009 with 389 million yen (roughly $3.5 million). Estimates show that the film will go on to hit at least 1.5 billion yen before the end of its theatrical run.
The movie which primarily features the cast from Kamen Rider Zi-O also stars Atsuhiro Inukai (Sento Kiryu/Kamen Rider Build), Eiji Akaso (Banjou Ryuga), Kouhei Takeda (Kazumi Sawatari), Kensei Mikami (Gentoku Himuro), and Kaho Takada (Misora Isurugi) all reprising their roles from Kamen Rider Build, and features vocal returns from Toshiki Kashu (Kamen Rider Agito), Shun Nishime (Kamen Rider Ghost), Takamasa Suga (Kamen Rider Ryuki), Masashiro Inoue (Kamen Rider Decade), and a surprise return by Takeru Satoh from Kamen Rider Den-O.
