Godzilla: The Planet Eater Preview Features Climactic Ghidorah Battle

A special preview revealed after the release of Godzilla: The Planet Eater features Godzilla Earth taking on his nemesis, King Ghidorah.

Godzilla: The Planet Eater released in Japanese theaters on November 3rd. This film is the third and final part in a series of animated Godzilla movies. The series began with Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters and continued with Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle. Just shortly after the release of the final installment, the official website for Godzilla: The Planet Eater released a special preview showcasing part of the final climactic battle.

Godzilla: The Planet Eater is about humans returning to Earth after 20,000 years only to find the planet is ruled by Godzilla Earth. As they seek to use the remains of Mechagodzilla to defeat Godzilla Earth, King Ghidorah descends to battle Godzilla Earth himself. The above preview features the battle between Godzilla Earth and King Ghidorah.

Godzilla: The Planet Eater placed number six in the Japanese box office for its opening weekend.
